Hong Kong International Airport blocked Former Department of Foreign Affairs Sec. Albert Del Rosario from entering their country upon his arrival at around 7:00 am.

It happened exactly a month after former Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales experienced the same thing.

He was put inside a holding room where he was questioned by the Hong Kong authorities.

The former DFA chief was expected to attend the board meeting of First Pacific Company.

“That means that the diplomatic passport I am carrying is not being honored and they refused to give the reason why,” Del Rosario said in message.

Morales and Del Rosario recently filed a case for crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court against Chinese President Xi Jinping. / With reports from Bombo Christian Yosores; Edited by Bombo Sol Marquez
