CEBU CITY – A former seaman was murdered Thursday in front of his residence in Barangay Bato, Toledo City.
The victim was identified as Ronnie Sy Obenza, 50. Obenza died due to severe gunshots wound all over his body and head.
In the initial investigation, the victim went to his ancestral house, few blocks away from the crime scene, to turn on the lights when the unidentified perpetrators shot him dead past 7 p.m. He was then declared dead on the spot.
Toledo PNP said they were still investigating the motives behind the bloody crime. / Edited by: Bombo Sol Marquez
