The family of former Senate President Aquilino “Nene” Pimentel Jr., 85, for his quick recovery after being rushed to the hospital for his sickness.
People were shocked when Partido Demokratiko ng Pilipinas-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) spokesman Ron Munsayac confirmed the news.
Pimentel, who was tagged as the “Father of local government code”, on Monday, was brought to St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig City and was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).
Sen. Koko Pimentel assured that his father is continuously getting treatment.
“Senator Nene Pimentel is very ill and currently under treatment. Doctors and hospital staff are doing their best to help him. We ardently ask that you join us in prayer for his full and complete recovery,” said Sen. Koko.
