Pinangalanan Washington Wizards si dating NBA All-Star Antawn Jamison bilang director of pro personnel nitong Miyerkules (Huwebes, Manila time).
“We are absolutely thrilled to bring Antawn back to the Wizards organization,” wika ni general manager Tommy Sheppard sa isang pahayag.
“In addition to his strong feel for the game and basketball knowledge, he has always been a true professional and a dedicated worker. We look forward to him bringing those qualities to our front office.”
Iginugol ng 43-anyos na si Jamison ang huli nitong dalawang season sa Los Angeles Lakers bilang isang scout.
Naglaro si Jamison ng anim na season sa Wizards (2004-10), kung saan pumoste ito ng average na 20.8 points at 8.9 rebounds at umani ng dalawang All-Star selections sa Washington.
Napiling fourth overall si Jamison ng Toronto Raptors noong 1998 NBA Draft.
