Inanunsyo ng 15-year-old Filipino-American singer-songwriter at DC star na si Ella Jay Basco ang kaniyang kabibilangang upcoming crime series sa Hollywood na “A Friend of the Family”.
Sa exclusive interview ng Star FM Baguio sa singer-actress, ibinahagi nito na excited na siya sa nasabing show na ipapalabas sa streaming platform Peacock.
Samantala, kamakailan ay inilabas rin nito ang kaniyang latest songs na “Bubble Tea” at “Eye to Eye”, at proud ang young star na maging aktibo sa kaniyang music at acting career sa U.S.
“As an artist, music wise, I really want to put out a really good album and hopefully go on tour with it. As for my acting career, I think it would be really cool to be the star of a coming-of-age film.”
Ibinahagi rin ni Basco ang mga natutunan nito bilang isang aktres sa Hollywood.
“Embrace your culture and embrace who you are because that is truly who you authentically are. It’s what really shows and what really matters and I think if you really persevere and work hard and make sure that your voice is heard, that’s all that matters.”
Nakilala si Ella sa kaniyang film debut sa DC Extended Universe movie na “Birds of Prey” noong 2020 bilang si Cassandra Cain.
Lumabas rin ang aktres sa mga episodes ng “Veep”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Teachers”, “Superior Donuts”, at “Happyland”.
