Before officially restarting the season on July 30th, the NBA will hold three exhibition games per teams to warm-up the participating teams running for the playoffs.
However, each teams’ first game will only be a 10-minute per quarter long before making it the normal 12-minute on their next game.
The decision is for the benefit of the teams who have been out since March due to the coronavirus.
Eight teams will see action on the first day which will be on July 22 (US time) and will run a course of seven days.
Players who are still outside the Disney World bubble in Orlando, Florida are expected to arrive before the regular season continue.
Meanwhile, the NBA also set a barbershop inside the bubble so that players can get a haircut while staying inside the restricted venue.
