In today’s sports, it’s no longer surprising that more athletes are doing cross sports, especially boxing.
The next man up is former NBA star Deron Williams who will fight Frank Gore, a former NFL running back.
They will make their boxing debut on December 18th as an undercard of the Jake Paul-Tommy Fury main event.
Williams is the third NBA player to go boxing, following Lamar Odom and Nate Robinson.
His boxing debut will be in a heavyweight class with at least 215 pounds.
The age of Williams and Gore are not far from each other, 37 and 38 years old, respectively.
Now, will this fight be worth watching? Well, the fans’ curiosity will be there, and we can’t predict what will happen because both are a newbie in the sport of boxing.
