(Update) KORONADAL CITY – A massive number of households were severely damaged due to strong winds in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat.
In an interview of Bombo Radyo Koronadal with Tacurong City Information Officer Allan Freno said, among the barangays badly affected were San Emmanuel, San Pablo, and Poblacion.
Freno added that the city disaster risk reduction and management office quickly provided assistance to the affected residents such as rice and canned goods.
Strong winds accompanied by heavy downpour of rain lasted for 15 to 20 minutes, devastating the households and uprooting some trees.
