Inatasan na rin ni Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Alfonso Cusi ang mga oil companies na maghanda na rin sa pagkakaroon ng sapat na mga fuel inventory levels lalo na sa mga lugar na dadaanan ng malakas na bagyong si Rolly.
Pinaalalahanan din ng kalihim ang pagpapairal ng prize free kung sakali sa mga lugar na isasailalim sa state of calamity.
Ayon kay Sec. Cusi, lalo na raw sa mga produktong kabilang sa household liquefied petroleum gas at mga kerosene products.
Tiniyak din nito sa publiko na dapat mananatiling operational ang mga energy facilities sa lahat ng oras.
“We would like to assure the public that the energy family is working together to see to it that our energy facilities remain operational at all times. In the meantime, we would like to appeal to everyone to remain vigilant and cooperate with the authorities as we brace for Typhoon Rolly,” ani Sec. Cusi.
