The Hollywood community is mourning over the unexpected and tragic loss of NBA legend Kobe “Black Mamba” Bryant alongside his 13-years old daughter, Gianna Bryant.
The outpouring of condolences and messages of sympathy from Hollywood stars and singers following the confirmation of Kobe’s death showed how much his life impacted billions of people around the world.
Grief also surrounded the Grammy Awards at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Thousands of Lakers’ fans gathered outside the said venue to pay tribute to their idol where some of them brought flowers and memorabilia as a sign of respect to Kobe.
The tragic death of the 41-years old NBA superstar and his daughter became a trending issue all over social media.
Mark Hamill, who played the role of Luke Skywalker in “Star Wars” films look back on Bryant’s win on Oscar Awards last 2018 for his animated film “Dear Basketball.”

The 30-years old singer and song-writer Taylor Swift said that the loss of Kobe felt like she also lost half of her life. “My heart is in pieces hearing the news of this unimaginable tragedy. I can’t fathom what the families are going through. Kobe meant so much to me and to us all. Sending my prayers, love, and endless condolences to Vanessa and the family and anyone who lost someone on that flight.”
Former LA governor and veteran actor Arnold Schwarzenegger also praised the late basketball superstar for the good deeds he has done outside the court.
“Kobe was an icon on the court, a legend for the way he gave back to his community, and an inspiration to the world. I consider myself lucky to have witnessed both his talent and his big heart. My thoughts are with the Bryant family on this unthinkable day,” said Schwarzenegger.
