Harden chooses less money to give the 76ers more cap space

James Harden wants to win an NBA championship.

He thinks one step is to not pick up his $47.7 million option with the Philadelphia 76ers and accept lesser money for the team to pick more pieces in the free agency offseason.

After a disappointing postseason in his first stint with the 76ers, Harden and Joel Embiid are committed to winning and giving the franchise an NBA trophy.

With this development, the 76ers are expected to fish in the NBA market to be a more title contender than last season.
