Ibinida ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) ang pagkilala na “highest audit rating” na natanggap nito mula sa Commission on Audit (COA).

Batay sa COA report, “unqualified opinion” ang natanggap na remarks ng OVP dahil sa pagiging transparent ng financial statement ng tanggapan sa fiscal year ng 2018.

Itinuturing na pinaka-mataas na rating ang “unqualified opinion” para sa government agencies na maaaring matanggap mula sa COA.

Ayon sa tanggapan ng bise presidente, naging epektibo rin ang liderato ni Vice Pres. Leni Robredo sa internal controls ng tanggapan bilang layunin umano nito na maging wais sa paggastos ng pampublikong pondo.

“In our opinion, the accompanying financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the OVP as of December 31, 2018, and its financial performance, statement of cash flows, statement of changes in net assets/equity, statement of comparison of budget and actual amounts for the year then ended, and notes to the financial statements, including a summary of significant accounting policies in accordance with Philippines Public Sector Accounting Standards (PPSASs),” ayon sa COA.
