MANILA – Tinatayang 922,898 doses ng bakuna laban sa coronavirus na ang naiturok sa mga Pilipino.

Ito ang sinabi ng Department of Health (DOH) sa pinakabagong vaccine statistics as of April 6, 2021.
“Of the distributed doses, a total of 922,898 doses have been administered to healthcare workers, senior citizens, and persons with comorbidities, affording added protection to almost a million at-risk and vulnerable Filipinos.”
Ayon sa DOH, aabot na sa 2.5-million doses ng COVID-19 vaccine ang hawak ng bansa. Mula rito, tinatayang 1,936,600 doses o 77% ang naipamahagi na.
“2,670 vaccination sites are conducting COVID-19 vaccination in various sites across all regions.”
Batay sa report ng Health department, tinatayang 872,021 sa alokasyong bakuna ang naiturok bilang first dose. Habang 50,685 ang ibinakuna bilang second dose.
Tiniyak ng pamahalaan na pabibilisin pa ang pag-aangkat at distribusyon ng coronavirus vaccines.
Ito ay sa gitna ng patuloy na tumataas na kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa, na nagsimula bago matapos ang Marso.
