Kabilang sa naglalayong mag-resign daw ay sina national security adviser Robert O’Brien, deputy national security adviser Matt Pottinger, at deputy chief of staff Chris Liddell.
Ang planong pagbitiw ng tatlong White House aides ay may kaugnayan sa nangyaring kaguluhan sa US Capitol.
Nauna nang naghain ng resignation letter si White House communications director/ press secretary at chief of staff ni first lady Melania Trump na si Stephanie Grisham dahil na rin sa nangyaring protesta na ikinamatay ng ng apat katao kabilang na ang isang babae.
