Naaprubahan na ng Commission on Appointments (CA) ang appointments ni Department of Energy (DOE)Secretary Raphael Lotilla; Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Ivan John U; Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Secretary Renato Solidum at 60 opisyal ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Ang deliberasyon ng CA na binubuo ng mga delegado ng Senado at House of Representative ay umabot pa ng ilang oras dahl sa dami ng mga appointees ganun din ang dami ng mga nagtanong na mga mambabatas.
Nakatakda sanang maaprubahan na ang confirmation nina Solidum at Uy nitong Martes subalit tumagal ang deliberations ng CA committee kay Energy Secretary Lotilla.
Kasama ring nakumpirma ng CA ang 13 ambassadors at 47 na foregin service officers kabilang si dating DFA secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr bilang ambassador to the United Kingdom, Evangelista Lourdes Arroyo-Bernas bilang Ambassador to Australia at Jaime Florcruz bilang ambassador to China.
