Newly-proclaimed Manila City Mayor called out the attention of those people behind the rampant spreading of fake class suspension announcements over social media platform.
Isko said he was considering to file a complaint against those who keep spreading such fake news.
However, Moreno reiterated that all class suspension announcements in Manila will be announced through the city’s official social media account and Manila Public Information Office.
“We will file complaint against Facebook or we will forward it to Facebook or other social media outlets these types of accounts na walang representasyon na opisyal ng siyudad ng Maynila,” said Moreno.
“We will announce as early as 8PM or as late as 4AM thru my verified social media account or the official account of the Manila Public Information Office,” the Manila mayor added. / with reports from Bombo Christian Yosores; edited by Bombo Sol Marquez
