The cast for the Slam Dunk competition in NBA All-Star Weekend at Cleveland has been named.
Filipino-American and Houston Rockets’ 2021 second overall pick Jalen Green accepted the invitation alongside Cole Anthony of the Orlando Magic, Juan Toscano-Anderson of the Golden State Warriors, and Obi Toppin of the New York Knicks.
Green is already the favorite to win the event among the mentioned names as he has already displayed his insane leaping ability and creativity since his high school days.
Hearing the news, Filipino is in a frenzy to support Green as they hope to witness the first-ever Filipino bloodline to be crowned Slam Dunk King.
However, it will not be easy for him as his fellow competitors are sure to bring out their A+ game in dunking.
Green, Anthony, and Toscano-Anderson have some of this season’s best poster slams, while Toppin separated himself with his two in-game in-between legs jam.
