James Harden picked up his $35.6 million contract option with the Philadelphia 76ers ahead of the deadline and the team is now exploring a potential trade with the former MVP.
Harden, who led the league in assists last season with 10.7 per game, once again failed for a championship run after exiting in the second-round against the Boston Celtics in seven games.
Harden though played great early in the series scoring a couple of 40 points, but vanished in the latter part that cost them to bow out.
Among teams interested in the 10-time All-Star are the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat, according to reports.
He could return to Philly, but Harden is highly considering a championship contender squad as he continues to search for his first NBA title.
