Boston jaylen brown celtics

A whooping $304 million for a five-year contract extension is officially in the history books of the NBA after Jaylen Brown agreed to the Boston Celtics offer.

Pretty much an easy decision for the superstar as this is the biggest contract ever in the league.

The 27-year old two-way player will have more than $50 million a year from 2024-2027 before making $60 million a year in 2026-2028.

His last year is close to $70 million.

Brown has been a key piece for the Celtics along with Jayson Tatum who will also be offering a max extension sooner as his contract has two years left.

The two have been leading Boston to two NBA Finals appearances only to lose both of them, but the franchise believes that the duo will bring the Celtics their 18th NBA title.
