Tinawag na baliw ni Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP-NPA) Chairman Jose Maria Sison si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte dahil sa paglabag umano nito sa principle of amnesty at paglalagay kay Sen Antonio Trillianes IV sa double jeopardy.
Ayon kay Sison walang karapatan si Pangulong Duterte na bawiin ang amnesty ni Trillianes na ipinagkaloob ni Dating Pangulong Benigno Aquino III.
Naaprobahan at napagkasunduan na aniya ang pagbibigay ng amnestiya kay Trillanes at sa iba pang military officers.
Ang ipinagkaloob na amnesty kayTrillanes at sa iba pang mga military personnel ay final, absolute at irrevocable, iligal aniya ang ginagawa ni Duterte na ipa aresto si Trillianes.
Naniniwala si Sison na sa ngayon divided ang AFP dahil sa hakbang ng pangulo.
“Duterte is really crazy. He is violating the principle of amnesty and is putting Trillanes under double jeopardy. He cannot revoke the amnesty granted by his predecessor. The court concerned and Congress concurred and agreed with the amnesty of the Magdalo officers and men.
The amnesty of Trillanes is final, absolute and irrevocable. Duterte is acting illegaly and has given out illegal orders to arrest Trilanes. Duterte has caused a severe split in the AFP and this will break out and explode in his face,” mensahe ni Joma Sison.
