There’s nothing greater than seeing a sport grows bigger, reaches deeper and makes history.
On Saturday night, December 7th, history will be made as Andy Ruiz Jr. will make his first-ever unified heavyweight title defense against the former champion Anthony Joshua inside the newly-built Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia.
Amazingly built in just two months’ time, the rematch dubbed as the ‘Clash on the Dunes’ will be the biggest sporting event the country will host after five decades. At the heart of the historic UNESCO heritage site, Diriyah, the birthplace of the first kings in Saudi, the people witnessed the rise of the 15,000 seats outdoor stadium.
Fit to set their feet first is the main event who dedicated their time and life for the moment to come.
Taking the biggest upset in the modern boxing by Ruiz Jr., the rematch has been much-hyped but with more pressure on the side of the challenger, Anthony Joshua. Odd to see him on the other side, Joshua took everything to reinvent himself and get that hunger he had a few years back when chasing the belts.
Meanwhile, Ruiz Jr. has been on the different side of life as his rise to stardom happened in a snap.
Given more time to prepare, both fighters are expected to deliver a fight for their lives come Saturday night as the world is witnessing the nearing of the new undisputed heavyweight champion after the fight.
