Kai Sotto to join Jordan Clarkson in Gilas Pilipinas

After several disappointing games and finishes in the recent FIBA tournaments, the Gilas Pilipinas are looking to get back in winning, as well as winning the hearts of the Filipino fans.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas confirmed in a statement that Kai Sotto committed to play for Gilas in the fourth window of the FIBA World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers.

The 7’3″ player of Adelaide 36ers will team up with NBA star Jordan Clarkson who also committed to the team a few days earlier.

“We are glad to have Kai into the Gilas fold and thank him for his proactive response to the call to play for flag and country for the August Qualifiers,” said SBP spokesperson Sonny Barrios.
