Bumuo na ang Kamara ng impeachment Secretariat na magbibigay ng technical at administratove support sa 11-man House prosecution team sa impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Ito ay batay sa Memorandum Order 19-1006 na inilabas ni House Secretary General Reginald Velasco.
Sinabi ni Velasco, mahalaga ang papel na gagampanan ng impeachment Secretariat para magbigay ng mga kailangang logistical, research at documentation support sa House prosecution team.
Ang impeachment Secretariat ay binubuo ng mga kinatawan mula sa Office of the Secretary General, Office of the Sergeant at Arms, Legislative Operations Department, Legal Affairs Department at iba pang relevant units ng Kamara.
Ayon kay Velasco, magiging papel ng mga ito ang pagbibigay ng plenary support, legal research, records management, stenographic transcription, information technology, security at administrative coordination.
Ang mga maa-assign na mga opisyal at empleyado ay susunod sa mahigpit na rules and ethical guidelines ng Kamara.
Sinabi ni Velasco at para matiyak ang accountability lahat ng personnel na maa-assign sa Senado ay irerecord ang kanilang attendance at may mga designated HousePass monitoring system.
Dagdag pa ni Velasco, inactivate na ang impeachment Secretariat matapos ilabas na ni Senate President Chiz Escudero ang proposed calendar sa impeachment trial ni VP Sara.
