Inaprubahan ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) sa pulong nila kagabi ang mas pinasimpleng listahan ng Priority Group A4 ng COVID-19 Immunization Program.
Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, kabilang sa A4 priority group ay mga private sector workers na kinakailangang physically present sa kanilang designated workplace o sa labas ng kanilang mga tahanan, government employees kasama ang mga kawani ng government-owned and controlled corporations at local government units; gayundin ang mga informal sector workers, self-employed at private households.
Inihayag pa ni Sec. Roque na kabilang din sa mga inaprubahan ng IATF ay ang initial vaccine deployment para sa Priority Group A4 workers sa National Capital Region, Bulacan, Pampanga, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Metro Cebu, at Metro Davao.
“The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Thursday, May 27, approved the recommendation to refine the Priority Group A4 of the COVID-19 Immunization Program. Those eligible under this category now include private sector workers required to be physically present at their designated workplace outside their residences; employees in government agencies and instrumentalities, including government-owned and controlled corporations and local government units; and informal sector workers and self-employed who may be required to work outside their residences, and those working in private households,” ani Sec. Roque.
