Inabsuwelto ng Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office ang tatlong individual mula sa lima na unang nadawit sa isyu ng umano’y paggamit sa opisina ni Senador Win Gatchalian para manloko ng isang government contractor.
Batay sa tatlong pahinang resolusyong inilabas ng piskalya, binigyang diin nito na walang probable cause na nadetermina sa kasong Estafa at Usurpation na isinampa laban sa mga akusado na sina Dina Joson, Ma. Luisa Barlan at Helen Bartolome.
Wala ring karagdagang ebidensya na isinumite ang Anti- Organized and Transnational Crime Division – National Bureau of Investigation para suportahan ang kanilang inihaing kaso.
“Considering that no additional evidence were adduced by the complainant to support the charges, our earlier resolution particularly that the charges of Concealing True Name, Violation of R.A. No. 6085 otherwise known as Art. Alias Law and Usurpation Of Authority have no evidence to stand on, remains.” sinabi ng Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office sa kanilang resolusyon.
Wherefore the charge of Concealing True Name, as defined and penalized under Article 178 of the Revised Penal Code and Violation of R.A. 6085, otherwise known as the “Anti-Alias Law” against Ryan Lester Dino y Placido @ David Luis Tan, Dina Joson Castro @Dinah Bartolome Lopez @ Diwah Lopez Umali, @ Dina Bartolome Joson, and Usurpation of Authority against Dina Joson Castro @ Dinah Bartolome Lopez @ Diwah Lopez Umali @ Dina Bartolome Joson, Ma. Luisa Barlan y Joson and Helen Remolada y Bartolome are dismissed.” – dagdag pa nito.
Sa kabila nito ay tuloy naman ang kasong Usurpation at Estafa laban sa dalawang lalaking akusado na sina Ryan Lester Dino y Placido at Carlo Africa Maderazo.
Ayon kay Attorney Vladimir Bugaring (Joson Family Lawyer), ang pagpapawalang sala kay Dina Joson, Ma. Luisa Barlan at Helen Bartolome ay dahil na rin sa kakulangan ng ebidensya na sila ay may kinalaman sa naturang paratang.
“ It shows the flawed procedure made by the NBI in unlawfully arresting them without a warrant and detaining them on unfounded charges. Its sad but it was the reality happening. Thanks God because justice is still prevailing in our courts and prosecution offices.” ani Atty. Bugaring
Ikinatuwa naman ng kapatid ni Dina Joson na si Direk Emille Joson,award winning filmmaker, ang naging desisyon ng piskalya.
“What great start for 2024! I’m very happy for my big sisters, they are now finally free from injustices. You know! I can’t control what other people will think or say, but what matters to me most is that the truth finally came out. So malaking pasasalamat ko yun sa itaas. I admire my sisters courage kasi hinaharap nila yung mga kaso ng taas noo, wala silang tinakbuhan and that’s what innocent people do.. So I’m glad that finally it’s over” pahayag ni Direk Emille Joson.
