Pinaiimbestigahan na ni National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Police Director Oscar Albayalde kay Northern Police District (NPD) Director C/Supt. Roberto Fajardo ang kumalat na memo sa social media na galing sa Station Intelligence Branch ng Valenzuela Police Station kaugnay sa planong pambobomba ng Maute Group sa ilang lugar sa Metro Manila.
Ayon kay Albayalde, nais niya mabatid kung ano ang standard operating procedure ng Valenzuela Police Station lalo na sa paghawak ng mga sensitibong dokumento na sana ay internal lamang sa Philippine National Police (PNP).
Tiniyak naman ni Albayalde na kahit unverified pa ang nasabing memo na may petsang June 16, 2017, hindi nila ito binabalewala.
Sinabi ng heneral na lahat aniya ng report na kanilang natatanggap ay kanilang bina-validate upang masiguro na mapipigilan ang kahit anumang klaseng banta.
Umapela si Albayalde sa netizens na itigil na ang pagpapakalat sa naturang memo sa social media.
Nakasaad dito na nakakuha ang himpilan ng impormasyon na may mga miyembro ng teroristang Maute sa pangunguna nina Mambang Maute, Maute leader; Abu Hidaya Maute; Tony Buhisan ng Tandang Marang Valenzuela; Gareb Santos ng Taguig; Abu Bakar Alyankana; Al Shamir Allana; Rhodz Wheng Kasalanan; Abu Fatie; Abu Al Hafida Hadid, at iba pa, na planong pasabugin ang Trinoma sa Quezon City, SM Cubao, Quezon City Circle, at ilang lugar sa Quiapo at Makati.
“I have ordered the Northen Police District Director Bong Fajardo to investigate the document handling procedure at the Valenzuela Police Station. Related to the content, we assure the public that we do not take for granted any information reported to us. We process every information received and task our police on the ground to validate all these so that we will be able to address any threat immediately and appropraitely. Further, I request everyone to please stop the spread or posting of the said document while we verfiy its content. We also express our gratitude to concerned individuals & our friends from the media who are the first inform us about the document. This is vigilance in action. We reiterate our call that security is everyone’s concern, while we give due respect to freedom of expression, let us be vigilant by not spreading news or information that may cause undue alarm to the public at large,” mensahe ni Albayalde.
