After skipping the first game of the season last Sunday due to a sore foot, Lebron James extended an excused absence and won’t play vs Memphis Grizzlies on December 16, 2024 at Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles California.
The Lakers team is bothered because they cannot afford to play without Lebron for so long.
Lakers head coach JJ Redick explained, “He’s out for personal reasons, excused absence.” and added that if somebody wants to go spend a couple of nights in Santa Barbara and relax is just fine.
Lakers superstar Lebron is turning 40 on December 30 and the team understands his condition. Redick noticed that Lebron is having a fatigue recently.
The Lakers denied the trade rumours because LeBron has a no-trade clause. He can’t be traded unless he asks for it.
As of this writing there is no date yet when Lebron will be back.
