NBA legend Lebron James mocked team Victor Wembanyama’s team France when they lost to Germany 85 – 71 last August 2, 2024 in Paris, France.
“I wasn’t very impressed with their last game. I didn’t think they were ready for the physicality of Germany. Other than that, they were playing some good ball.” Lebron added that France is not ready for Germany’s physicality.
However team France made a comeback win against Germany last August 8, 2024 with 73 – 69 that stunned the team USA.. It can be recalled that France went 2-1 in Group B last August 2 against Germany.
Wembanyama added 12 rebounds in that game, but not enough to win. This is his first time in Olympics 2024 yet as of this writing Wemby is getting controversial.
“Big part of a goal we set ourselves months back. It’s a chance to write history even more. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime goal. Maybe nobody can reproduce that, so we have got to take our chance.” Wemby concluded as he will face Lebron on Saturday for the gold.
