“It had its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival last September, and it has travelled to a hundred film festivals. It’s been to Europe, and to Asia. In July, it was released in France in over a hundred cinemas to some excellent reviews. It did quite well in the French box office, too,” saad nito sa Star FM Baguio.
“Do not be afraid to take risks creatively, because when you’re starting out, you really want to distinguish yourself from other artists and filmmakers. You can’t really establish your own unique and distinctive mark or identity if you’re just following the formula, or sticking to what’s already been done. Don’t be afraid to explore uncharted territory artistically. Put yourself out there. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.”
