Umaabot sa 3,017 ang binigyan ng assistance ng Philippine Red Cross (PRC) mula sa mga lugar na pinagdarausan ng Lenten activities.

Ayon kay PRC Chairman & CEO Richard “Dick” Gordon, pinaghandaan na nila ito kaya maaga silang nag-deploy ng mga tauhan sa iba’t-ibang lugar.

“Mayroon kaming 178 na ambulansya na handang tumulong at rumesponde, kasama ang mga First Aid Stations, Welfare Stations, at mga volunteers iba’t ibang lugar sa buong bansa,” pahayag ni Gordon.

Sentro ng kanilang assistance booth ang mga lugar ng mga byahero, simbahan at pasyalan.

Total Patients Catered (March 24-28): *3,410 individuals

Breakdown as follows:
Vital Signs Taken (BP) – 3,248
Minor Cases- 107 (abrasion, abdominal pain, allergy, body weakness, blister, bruise, burn, cramp, contusion, dizziness, dysmenorrhea, elevated BP, fainting, headache, hypertension, hyperventilation, laceration, lump, nape pain, neck pain, nosebleed, numbness, shortness of breath, sprain, sting, stomach ache)
Major Cases- 10 (abdominal pain, chest pain, contusion in the head, deep laceration, drowning, elevated BP, fracture, multiple abrasion, seizure)
Transported to hospital- 8 (Buises on extremities, difficulty of breathing, hypoxemia, heat exhaution, loss of consciousness, seizure, severe leg pain)
Welfare- 37 (CSF, referral)
