President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is opening Malacañang Palace to showcase the abilities of various local performing artists as he places focus on the nation’s creative industries.
Marcos initiated the “Konsyerto sa Palasyo,” with its first show slated on the evening of April 22. The first guests are members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and their families.
The purpose of the concert is to honor the military’s sacrifices in preserving the country’s security, sovereignty, and peace. To amuse the troops and their families, performers from Cebu, Ilocos Norte, Quezon, Cavite, Iloilo, Metro Manila, and Davao will take the stage.
The KSP is a concert series featuring the top performers in the nation, held at various places within the Palace grounds. The purpose of the event is to showcase the performing arts skills and rich culture of the country.
Marcos believes the creative industry sector should not be left out in the country’s recovery and progress.
