President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. met with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin III.
This morning, the American official and several authorities paid Marcos a courtesy visit.
Austin III landed on Tuesday evening, and on Wednesday he paid a visit to the local troops in Zamboanga City.
He spoke with Enrique Manalo, the Secretary Of Foreign affairs, and National Security Adviser Eduardo Año, before meeting President Marcos.
Austin will also meet with Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. following his meeting with the President.
