Kapwa tiniyak nina Philippine Army, commanding general Lt.Gen. Andres Centino at Thailand Naval Attaché to the Philippines Captain Pakpoom Muensri at Group Captain Soonthorn Pongampai, Defense and Air Attaché of Thailand to the Philippines na kanila pang palalakasin ang military cooperation at paiigtingin ang capability development programs ng dalawang bansa.
Ginawa ang commitment ng dalawang bansa sa isinagawang introductory call ng dalawang military official ng Thailand kay Centino sa Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Andres Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
Siniguro naman ni Lt. Gen. Centino sa dalawang opisyal na isu-sustain ng Philippine Army ang kanilang military cooperation lalo na sa Thailand army.
Binigyang-diin ni ni Centino ang upcoming renewal of the Terms of Reference sa pagitan ng Philippine Army at Royal Thai Army na siyang patunay sa genuine commitment sa isat isa.
“I would like to extend my gratitude to the government of Thailand for its support to the Philippine Army throughout the years. We look forward to our future activities and engagements that will further strengthen our military relations,” pahayag ni Lt. Gen. Centino.
Nagpasalamat naman si Capt. Pakpoom kay Centino sa mainit na pagtanggap sa kanila.
