BAGUIO CITY – Nagbahagi ng tulong si Miss Philippines Water 2019 Chelsea Fernandez sa mga apketado ng coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic kasabay ng kanyang paghahanda sa virtual pageant ng Miss Philippines Earth 2020.
Sa exclusive interview ng Star FM Baguio sa beauty queen, ikinuwento nito na nakapagbigay na ito ng mga relief packs sa halos 500 pamilya bilang bahagi ng kanyang mga proyekto.
“I’m finding ways para maging productive pa rin. I had a relief operation, we distributed relief packs to more than 70 families here in Caloocan City. I am also part of the organization called CYA Oplan Bayanihan and we have distributed relief goods to more than 400 families in Novaliches, Quezon City. I am also part of the team called Palo-love kasi I’m from Tacloban City, Leyte. I have friends there who also help our fellow Leytenos, nagdidistribute din sila ng relief sa mga taga Leyte,” ani Fernandez.
Samantala, kasabay ng kanyang ginagawa ay ibinahagi nito na pinaghahandaan nilang mabuti ang kauna-unahang online edition ng pageant na kasalukuyang ginaganap ang preliminary competition.
“Miss Philippines Earth will have its virtual pageant, and it’s kinda unique. First time ito and the pageant itself is still on going. We already had the COVID crazed outfit competition, the dancing competition and almost everyday the delegates have this interview with the former queens to test their Intelligence,” dagdag ng beauty queen.
Gaganapin ang kanuna-unahang virtual pageant ng Miss Philippines Earth 2020 ngayong Hulyo.
