Excited na ang first-ever Hiyas ng Pilipinas Tourism Queen International na si Phoebe Godinez mula Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu sa kaniyang lalahukang international pageant sa Malaysia sa Disyembre ngayong taon.
Sa exclusive interview ng Star FM Baguio sa newly-crowned 23-year-old beauty queen at graduating Mass Communication Film Media student, sinabi nitong pagbubutihan niya ang kaniyang paghahanda para sa nasabing pageant.
“I will be training and researching more about Malaysia and their culture. As I’m carrying the name of the Philippines, I wouldn’t want to bring a bad name to my country.”
Samantala, thankful din ito sa naging journey niya sa inaugural coronation ng Hiyas ng Pilipinas.
“I’m very happy that the efforts, the pain, the blisters and the tears have been worth it. I can’t believe that I’ve gone through all that and made it,” dagdag nito.
Nagpasalamat rin ang dalaga sa lahat ng sumuporta sa kaniya sa pagkamit ng national crown.
“There are a lot of people I would really like to thank. Despite being troubled by COVID and the Super typhoon Odette, they were still there for me and willing to give up their time, energy and money to help me grow as a person. I do hope that you guys could still continue to support me when I fly to Malaysia and compete for Miss Tourism Queen International.”
Kinoronahan si Godinez bilang Hiyas ng Pilipinas Tourism Queen International 2022 noong March 27 sa Cebu City.
