Michael Jordan and his greatness will continue to live and will be very pricey.
His worn Nike Air Ships in 1984 was recently sold for a record-shattering amount of $1.5 million. To be exact, this sneaker was used in his rookie year with the Bulls in his third NBA game.
“The most valuable sneakers ever offered at auction—Michael Jordan’s regular-season game-worn Nike Air Ships from 1984—have just sold at USD1,472,000 in our luxury sale in Las Vegas,” Sotheby’s auction house tweeted.
This is not the first time a Jordan wore a sneaker or a jersey to be sold at such a high price. Most of his game-worn were sold in a million in different auctions.
This is just proof the impact of His Airness is genuinely remarkable.
