Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis and Frank Martin will fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday June 15, 2024 8PM ET / 5PM PT but one of the highlights is the presence of the Japanese Monster at the ringside.
29-year old and Undefeated three-division world champion “Tank” Davis (29-0) will defend his WBA Lightweight World Title against undefeated contender “The Ghost” Martin (18-0).
There are speculations that 31-year old Naoya Inoue (27-0) is thinking of going up in weight to fight WBA ‘regular’ lightweight champion Tank Davis. This is after being undisputed and no one in his weight class can match him as of today.
Inoue and Davis are similar in physical attributes plus being in the pound for pound list, thus boxing fans are expecting them to clash soon.
Meanwhile, Filipino pride Mark Magsayo (25-2) will also be the highlight in the undercards of Davis and Martin. He will fight for the WBC World Super Featherweight Championship vs Eduardo Ramirez. Inoue is known for destroying pinoy boxers and there are boxing fans who wish to see them fight for vindication.
