CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The National Police Commission (Napolcom) Northern Mindanao said that they are still waiting for the result of the investigation conducted by Regional Internal Affairs Services Unit (RIAS) pursuant regarding the misencounter of two policemen, wounding four civilians in Barangay Puerto, this city.

Lawyer Robert Lou Elango, chairman of the Police Regional Appellate Board of Napolcom-Northern Mindanao, said the cops will be facing charges in court due to the serious irregularity in the performance of duty.

Elango strongly reminded all policemen that firing a gun within public spaces is strictly prohibited.

The two policemen, namely PSSG Arman Tagolimot, of Misamis Oriental Provincial Police Office and PSMS Jose Ryan Sevilleno of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (CoCPO) are now in the holding office of NAPOLCOM.
