Tinututukan pa umano ng liderato ng NBA ang ilang mga development bago makapagbigay ng anumang pasya sa pagbabalik ng 2019-20 season.
Matatandaang sinuspinde muna ang NBA season matapos magpositibo sa deadly virus si Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert.
Ayon kay NBA commissioner Adam Silver, titingnan pa raw nila kung kailan bababa ang bilang ng mga bagong kaso at mino-monitor din daw nila ang availability ng malawakang testing.
Nakaabang din aniya sila sa mga hakbang ng Centers for Disease Control and Prevention para mapigilan ang pagkalat pa ng sakit.
“There is a lot of data that all has to be melded together to help make these decisions,” wika ni Silver. “That is part of the uncertainty. We are not even at the point where we can say if only A, B and C were met, then there is a clear path.
“I think there is still too much uncertainty at this point to say precisely how we move forward. I’ll add that the underlying principle remains the health and well-being of NBA players and everyone involved. We begin with that as paramount.”
