“The devastation in Israel is tragic and unacceptable,” Lebron posted.
He added that he will use his platform and influence to stop the terrorism.
Aside from Lebron, Washington Wizards small forward Deni Avdija, an Israeli-Serbian, posted the same condemnation in his instagram.
“They mercilessly murdered and slaughtered innocent children, women, and elders — some at home, others during a party while celebrating a holiday.” he lamented.
The NBA and the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) felt the same about the killings.
The Gaza Health Ministry reported roughly 1,900 people died. Hamas killed more than 1,300 Israelis, most of whom are civilians and still counting.
As of this writing, it is uncertain if Lebron will play against the Warriors as he was absent last game.
