The NBA big names gathered themselves in an private online press conference to create a support group to resume the 2020 season.
LeBron James spearheaded the call along with Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Russell Westbrook and Damian Liliard according to Chris Haynes.
The group unified for a ‘yes’ to continue the season but with “safety measures” once the pandemic coronavirus is slowed or if the country has flatten the curve already.
Many players agreed to play despite the threat and the fan-less venues.
Currently, reigning MVP Antetokounmpo and his Milwaukee Bucks lead the overall standings followed by James’ and his Los Angeles Lakers.
Tentatively, the league plans to resume the games in June.
