Nilinaw ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) ang umano’y pagdukot ng humigit kumulang 10 unidentified suspects na nakasuot ng camouflage uniforms na armado ng mahabang mga baril lulan ng mga sasakyan sa isang Chinese national sa Amethyst St., San Antonio, Pasig City kagabi, Abril 25.
Sa isang statement, sinabi ng NCRPO na agad silang nagkasa ng imbestigasyon sa napaulat na insidente ng pagdukot.
Matapos aniya ang koordinasyon sa kanilang partner-agencies, ipinaabot ng Bureau of Immigration na nag-ugat ang insidente sa isinilbing Mission Order ng BI at Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP) laban sa isang Chinese national para sa umano’y paglabag sa Immigration law.
Subalit, lumalabas sa kanilang inisyal na imbestigasyon na nagkaroon ng lapses sa ikinasang operasyon.
Ayon pa sa NCRPO, lumalabas na hindi alinsunod sa standard at prescribed procedures ang naturang operasyon.
“More particularly, it appears that the coordination made was not in accordance with the standard and prescribed procedures. Further, information also suggests that there was excessive use of force employed by the operatives during the operation when some of them indiscriminately and unjustifiably fired their guns in the process”, paliwanag ng NCRPO.
“Also, there is evidence on the severity and impropriety on some of the actions made by operatives during the supposed operation.”, saad pa ng NCRPO.
Samantala, isasailalim naman ang initial findings sa malalimang validation process sa komprehensibong imbestigasyon ng Eastern Police District, NCRPO sa pakikipagtulungan sa BI at ISAFP.
Magsasagawa din ng imbestigasyon para matukoy kung nagkaroon ng negligence sa parte ng PNP territorial units.
Sakali man aniya na mapatunayan ito, magsasampa sila ng kaukulang criminal charges laban sa mga lumabag na personnel ng kanilang partner-agencies alinsunod sa due process ng batas.
