Markeiff Morris found a new home in the Brooklyn Nets after the team announced the signing of the veteran forward to a one-year non-guaranteed minimum deal.

It means Morris will have to fight for a roster spot during the training camp.

He only played 17 games last season with the Miami Heat after missing a huge amount of time due to a neck and back injuries he suffered from Nikola Jokic.

The 33 year-old Morris averaged 7.6 points, 2.3 rebounds with the Heat but he is a proven a great off the bench player having played for 13 seasons already.

He could be a great reliever to Kevin Durant, who was talked down to stay in Brooklyn along with his superstar duo Kyrie Irving.

The Nets are now looking for pieces to compete after getting eliminated in the four round last playoffs and the only team that got swept.
