Pinasinayaan ni dating DPWH at PAF Reservist Mark Villar ang newly constructed Philippine Fleet Isolation Facility na matatagpuan sa Headquarters ng Philippine Fleet, Naval Base Heracleo Alano nuong October 12, 2021.

Siya ay sinalubong ni Philippine Fleet Deputy Commander, Commo. Renato David PN sa ngalan ni Commander Philippine Fleet, Rear Adm. Alberto Carlos, kasama din sa pagsalubong ay si The Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Adm. Caesar Bernard Valencia na tumayong representative ni Flag Officer In Command Vice Adm. Adeluis Bordado.

“The blessing of the Philippine Fleet isolation facility is another big leap in its battle against the unprecedented challenges brought by the covid-19 pandemic wherein the Fleet has found itself in the frontline of an unchartered territory, fighting against this unseen enemy and navigating under the new normal while ensuring the strict implementation of various measures and protocols to disrupt and prevent the spread of the virus,” ayon kay Commodor David.

” Anchored on the directive of Rear Adm. Carlos, the isolation facility is an effective way to slow down the spread of COVID-19 among sailors and aviators of the Philippine Fleet.

The construction of this facility, through the initiative of CDR Tiffany Ticao, Commander of our Fleet Support Group (FSG), is one of the critical responses of the Philippine Fleet to prevent, if not manage the transmission of COVID-19,” wika ni Lt Commander Luna.

Lubos naman nagpasalamat ang pamunuan ng Philippine Fleet sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) lalo na sa dating kalihim na si Secretary Mark Villar.
