Nine crew members are still not found in a Cargo ship carrying lumber that sinks between Japan and South Korea.

13 members were already rescued after the 6,551-tonne “Jintian” sank off.

According to the report, the ship completely submerged when the rescuer arrived, but at first, the coast guards did not find anyone.

As they continue to search, five of the crew were rescued nearby the vessels while the 8 crews were later rescued by the combined coast guards of Japan and South Korea.

On Tuesday, the crew of Jintian called saying that the ship had tilted and is flooding, after 4 hours of that call, the ship sank off.

South Korean officials confirmed that the ship’s captain last communicated with them at about 2:41 am on Wednesday, telling them that the crew members would leave the ship.

Further, the cause of the incident was not mentioned.
