North Korea on Wednesday launched another round of “multiple unidentified projectiles”, Seoul confirmed.
An official from South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said that projectiles were fired from Wonsan area on the east coast at dawn.
“We can’t say at this point how far they flew and are analysing them while preparing for additional possible launches,” the official noted.
“Our military is tracking and watching the related movement in preparation to additional launches, and is maintaining readiness posture.”
Last week, North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles off Wonson area.
The official added that the missiles projected posed no threat to US or any allies and fell into the sea.
