“I understand 100% where the Filipinos are coming from, because this virus is something that we haven’t seen before or we haven’t known before. If there’s something that is new, we’ll definitely have the fear of the unknown. If we are afraid, all of our emotions are high. Tendencies are, we will say things, we will do things that we couldn’t imagine that we could do before, like the words that we say. Which is why nagagawa natin yan, dahil takot tayo. Natatakot tayo for ourselves, for our family na gusto rin nating protektahan.”

“About dun sa late banning of the Philippines ng China flights, I understand that it caused outrage to Filipinos, and divided our country. May point naman lahat ng side. I think the government is trying to consider the working relationship of Philippines and China, kasi alam naman natin ngayon na Philippines is gearing towards a good relationship with China, and [I think that’s the reason] why the president or the government could not easily stop the flights. It will cause damage to the business sector, and also, they are considering the Filipinos, the OFWs who are working here, the Filipinos who travel here, who are trying to get back to our country. If we impose a ban, definitely, how is that going to happen? How about the relationship between countries?”

“Let’s try to think first before saying something. Let’s not consider the citizenship or the country of people. Kasi if we see this virus, as coming from China, instead of just seeing it as a virus, we will think differently. It’s like your brother. Sometimes, your brother, you will have an argument with him. You will be hurt, you will be mad. You will get angry. You will fight with your brother. But at the end of the day, that person is your brother. For sure, if you need something, your brother will definitely help you 100%. But right now, your brother is in need of your prayers. Your brother is in need of your help, so what are you going to do? In a situation like this, kailangang [tanggalin natin] yung galit na nararamdaman natin sa kanila. This situation calls for unity. It does not call for division. They are also humans like us, and bilog ang mundo. Wag naman sana, but what if one day, na-reverse yung situation, and the Chinese will definitely remember that the Philippines was really helpful during the times that we needed help. They are the only country that supported us. They are the only country that welcomed us inspite of the virus. For sure, they will help us 100%. Actually, they have been helping us for the past calamities that we had, for the past problems we had. This virus too shall pass. Let’s pray for each other. Think before you post something.”
