More than 25,000 passengers were stranded and spent their Christmas in different sea ports as Typhoon Ursula hits the country.

Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said that almost 25,122 passengers are in ports in Bicol, Cental Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Southern Tagalog, Northern Mindanao, Western Visayas, and Southern Visayas.

There are also 2,700 rolling cargoes, 30 motorbancas, and 169 ships stranded.

Stranded passengers in Port of Matnog already reached 10,847.

Meanwhile, over 40 domestic flights were cancelled also because of Typhoon Ursula.
