BAGUIO CITY – Three local tourists were arrested in Baguio City after admitting that they own the marijuana bricks amounting to P2 million found inside their bags.

On Monday, the joint operatives from PDEA-Cordillera, Baguio City PNP, Benguet PNP, and Mt. Province PNP conducted an interdiction operation in a bus terminal. The suspects were identified as Joseph Brizuela, 22, Samuel Flor, Christian Baldovino, 21, and Rhey John Hernandez, 24.

They were carrying 17 marijuana bricks and two tubular-shaped marijuana amounting to P2 million.

Based on investigation, the bus came from Bontoc, Mt. Province and they conducted the said operation when the three alighted at a bus terminal in Slaughter Compound, Baguio City.

The suspects will face charges for violating RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
