Pinangunahan ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Deputy Chief for Administration (TDCA), Police Lieutenant General Joselito Vera Cruz ang blessing at inauguration ng bagong PNP multi-purpose building at quarters para sa mga rank officers sa Camp BGen Rafael Crame, Quezon City.
Ang nasabing aktibidad ay dinaluhan ni Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) acting Secretary Roger Mercado at ng iba pang PNP officers.
Ang bagong PNP building ay bahagi ng facility development program ng PNP na naglalayon na mabigyan ng disente at state-of-the-art establishment para sa kanilang mga personnel at maging ng kanilang mga kliyente.
Magsisilbi din itong transient quarters para sa mga Police Commissioned Officers na naka-assign sa national headquarters.
“This project was initially started last 2016 but we were not able to secure a fund from DPWH to pursue it, but on 2017, DPWH included the PNPs Multi-purpose building amounting to Php298-million with its 2018 department budget”, pahayag ni Vera Cruz.
Nagpasalamat naman si Vera Cruz sa DPWH sa tulong na ibinigay nila sa PNP para matapos ang nasabing proyekto.
Ang nasabing building ay matatagpuan sa PNP Training Service compound, Gen. CastaƱeda Ave., Camp BGen Rafael Crame.
